Endoscopic Brow Lift
The eye brows look best when they rest at or above the brow bone. An Endoscopic Brow Lift is a surgical procedure to correct a sagging brow. An endoscope is a tubular lighted probe fitted with a tiny camera that magnifies the transmitted images of the body’s internal structures to a viewing monitor. Two to three small incisions are made on the scalp, a few inches behind the front hairline, hidden by hair. The endoscope is introduced via one of the incisions so the surgeon is able to view the muscle structure of the forehead. Through one of the other incisions, surgical instruments are inserted and the forehead muscle tissue is manipulated to smooth the horizontal furrowing and the vertical lines between the eyebrows.
