Cory Henssler, RN BSN
Cory Henssler received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in nursing from San Diego State University in 2000 and has been serving the medical community for over 10 years. As a testament to Cory’s character, she spent several years working in the intensive care unit at Rady Children’s Hospital of San Diego prior to starting her career in skincare. As the Director of Laser Services at FACESplus, Cory works closely with Dr. Steven Cohen to ensure the highest level of safety and efficacy. Cory has over 8 years in the aesthetic laser industry and has performed thousands of procedures. She frequently lectures physicians and nurses on the latest laser techniques and procedures. Cory’s calm hands and confident demeanor set patients at ease. She enjoys leaving her patients with beautiful, long lasting results. Cory lives in Carmel Valley with her husband, Bobby, and two beautiful daughters, Addison and Lauryn.
Jen Johnston, RN BSN
Laser Nurse Specialist and Injector
A tremendous asset to the FACESplus team since 2005, Jen Johnston graduated from the University of Iowa in 2001. After graduating, Jen immediately went to work in the intensive care unit specializing in adult medicine. Now she works closely with Dr. Steven Cohen, Cory Henssler and the other skin care specialists to create individualized treatment options for all of her patients. Jen feels privileged to give back to her patients and appreciates the opportunity to enhance their health and well-being. At FACESplus, Jen enjoys having access to the most cutting edge laser technology and works diligently to help each of her patients achieve their goal of a healthy, beautiful and glowing complexion. Jen lives in San Marcos with her husband, Greg, and beautiful baby boy, Luke.
