Glamour featured an article, “Should You Zap Your Way to Clear Skin?” in which Jessica Baumgardner wrote about the best treatment for common skin issues. The laser for treating fine lines was Fraxel, which was described as working, “pretty darn effectively.”
The Wall Street Journal featured an article about the rise in cosmetic treatments during the holiday season, including Fraxel, a treatment “intended to smooth the texture of the skin as it eliminates sunspots and other discolorations.” Dr. Debra Jaliman reported that she typically sees around five patients for Fraxel treatments per week, but this holiday season she was averaging around 15. The article was also featured online.
Robin Wuffson of the L.A. Women’s Health Examiner published an article about new treatments for a new year, including the most popular cosmetic treatments sought at the end of the year. Fraxel, touted as one of the most popular procedures, was described as improving uneven skin texture and removing skin pigmentation.
Fraxel and Thermage were both featured in the January 2012 issue of Australia’s Instyle magazine in a step-by-step guide for the most cutting edge skincare routine.
The Fraxel Dual was featured on The Doctors last week. During the “pink” themed show, Dr. Ava Shamban performed a live DUAL treatment treating “pink” acne scars. Click here to view the clip.
