Charitable Work
At the end of the day, few people are able to say their work dramatically changed a child’s life. But for Dr. Steven Cohen and the staff at FACESplus, it is an everyday occurrence. At FACESplusTM we provide state-of-the-art technology within a safe, compassionate and family centered environment. Dr. Cohen sees his pediatric and craniofacial patients at the Center for Craniofacial Disorders at Rady Children’s Hospital, which is located in the new Fresh Start Clinic.
Dr. Cohen is part of the Children’s Circle of Care at Rady Children’s Hospital, as well as the Physician Leadership Council. Dr. Cohen and his wife, Sheri, help raise money for the Neuro-craniofacial programs at Rady Children’s Hospital. Through their work, they have received donations for fellowships in Craniofacial and Pediatric Neurosurgery, intraoperative, portable CT scan, neuro-craniofacial endoscopic equipment, and more.
Dr. Cohen is part of a team which consists of internationally recognized experts in the craniofacial and neurosurgical treatment of craniosynostosis. The team also to serves the needs of children with complex facial differences and functional problems with the jaws and airway.
