Do you or someone you know have a problem with excessive underarm sweating?

We are looking for volunteers for a study and need 10 patients. The study is with the Thermigen device that causes a radio frequency ablation of the excess glands that cause sweating

Excessive sweating, also known as hyperhidrosis, is a condition that affects up to 3% of the US population and can cause significant quality of life issues. We are looking for patients to participate in our newest research study involving the treatment of excessive underarm sweating using radiofrequency technology. Each qualifying participant will receive evaluations by a board-certified study physician.

Patients must be at least 18 years of age and suffer from moderate to severe underarm sweating present for 6 months or longer that is not due to a medical condition or medication. Patients must not have had Botox injections into the underarm area within the last 12 months or a history of prior hyperhidrosis treatments including the following: Miradry, surgery, curettage, liposuction, sympathectomy, or laser treatment. In addition, patients must not be currently use the following medications: oxybutynin, glycopyrrolate, clonazepam, clonidine, phenoxybenzamine or propranolol.
